The contract worker committed suicide in a closed room

Korba. In the land-displaced village Pali of the district, a youth committed suicide by hanging himself. The youth was a contract worker in the Kusmunda mine. On getting the information of the case, the police reached the spot and removed the body from the gallows and sent it for postmortem. The case pertains to Sarvamangala Chowki area.

According to the information, the family of farmer Siyaram Kevat resides in village Pali. He has two sons Prakash and Avinash Kevat. Avinash used to do cable pulling work under contract in Kusmunda mine. Younger son Avinash Kevat (28 years) went to sleep in his room after having dinner on Friday night. When he did not come out of the room for a long time on Saturday morning, the family members peeped through the window and saw him.

The relatives saw that Avinash was hanging on the noose. Seeing this, there was hue and cry in the house. A crowd of people gathered around the spot. The relatives immediately informed the police about the incident. The police reached the spot and got the dead body removed from the noose and sent it for postmortem. No suicide note has been recovered from the room.
