New Delhi: A convoy carrying Chinese engineers has been attacked in Balochistan, Pakistan. Many people have died in this attack, while two security personnel of Pakistan were injured. The attack took place on Fakir Bridge in Gwadar on Sunday. This attack has been confirmed by Pakistan. The responsibility of this has been taken by the Baloch Liberation Army. It has been claimed that 4 Chinese citizens and 9 Pakistani soldiers have died in the attack.
According to the information, a convoy of 7 vehicles carrying Chinese engineers was attacked at Fakir Bridge in Gwadar. After which there were continuous explosions and firing from both sides. After this attack, Gwadar was put on full alert and any vehicle was banned from leaving and entering the city.
According to ‘The Balochistan Post’, two separatists were killed in an encounter with security forces, while others managed to escape. Pakistan Army is running a search operation to catch them. Amidst this attack, the Chinese consulates in Pakistan have issued orders to their citizens in Baluchistan and Sindh to remain inside their homes till further orders.

The Majeed Brigade (Suicide Squad) of the Baloch Liberation Army has claimed responsibility for the attack on the convoy of Chinese engineers. BLA has claimed that the attack is still going on and further information will be released later. After the attack on the convoy of Chinese engineers, a series of blasts continues in Gwadar. The port has been cordoned off as all access has been closed.
According to ‘The Balochistan Post’, explosions and gunfire could be heard in the port city of Gwadar, where all roads were closed to traffic. The attack on the convoy of Chinese engineers started at around 9.30 am, which continued till around 2 am. Several videos of this attack and encounter have also surfaced.
