Arrested for stabbing father and daughter, accused was absconding for 8 months

According to the information, the incident took place on January 8, 2023, when the girl had come out of the house with her sister for some work. Meanwhile, young man Abhinav Yadav (25 years) reached there and started harassing the girl. He said why don’t you talk to me, why are you ignoring me. After this he kept harassing her in front of everyone. The girl reached home and informed her father about this. After this the father reached the young man’s house to talk to him. At that time the young man was not present at home. On returning home, the young man came to know that the girl’s father had come to his house, so he immediately reached his house. The young man fatally attacked the girl and her father with a blade and fled from the spot.
The injured father and the girl lodged a case in City Kotwali. After this the police immediately reached the spot, but the accused was absconding. After 8 months, City Kotwali police arrested the accused from Sanjay Nagar on the information of the informer. ASI Shyam Baghel, posted at City Kotwali police station, told that the accused was absconding after the incident, he was arrested and produced in the court, from where he has been sent to jail in judicial custody.
