I miss dialogues when there is emotion in them: Anupam Kher
New Delhi (IANS). Veteran actor Anupam Kher, who plays Dr Khan in the intriguing thriller ‘The Freelancer’, has revealed the toughest part of his preparation.
‘The Freelancer’ also stars Mohit Raina and Anupam Kher in lead roles along with Kashmera Pardeshi.
Anupam said that I had to learn a lot of lines and a lot of technical expressions and words in it. Neeraj Pandey’s dialogues are very crisp and pointed. It is a pleasure as well as a difficult thing, because there are fewer innocents in it. I miss dialogues when emotions are involved in it. It was tough but it was also rewarding.
The series is based on the book ‘A Ticket to Syria’ by Shirish Thorat. It is directed by Bhav Dhulia, produced by Friday Storytellers and Neeraj Pandey is the producer and showrunner.
The book attempts to share the story about the deadly operations of the Islamic State, how the terrorist group has carried out a cross-country operation.
‘The Freelancer’ stars Sushant Singh, John Kokken, Gauri Balaji and Navneet Malik, Manjiri Phadnis, Sarah Jane Dias among others. Actress Kashmera Pardeshi is seen playing the role of Alia.
It will air on September 1 on Disney Plus Hotstar.
