Chandrayaan-3: Lander Vikram sent new video of moon, landing at 6.4 pm tomorrow

New Delhi: ISRO has released new pictures and videos of the moon. This video is of August 19, when Chandrayaan-3’s Vikram Lander was 70 kilometers away from the lunar surface. These pictures have been taken by Lander Position Detection Camera (LPDC). Many craters are visible in this video. Those who have been told with proper names.

ISRO told that the mission is running on its schedule. Checking of all systems is going on continuously. At present, Vikram Lander is circling comfortably around the moon. The live streaming of the landing will start on 23 August 2023 at 5.20 pm. Well… you know what the camera with which this video was shot is.

20 minutes very important

The time for Chandrayaan-3’s soft landing on the Moon is getting closer. Now less than 48 hours are left in this. Along with this, everyone’s heartbeat has also increased. During the soft landing of Chandrayaan-3 on Wednesday evening, the last 20 minutes are going to be very important. Significantly, after the success of this mission, India will join the select few countries which have made a soft landing on the Moon. These countries are America, Russia and China.

Let us tell you that the command of Chandrayaan-3’s landing is still in the hands of ISRO mission scientists. But in the last moments it will come in automatic mode. From then on the real challenges will begin. Significantly, it was in these last moments that Chandrayaan-2 failed. Keeping this in view, ISRO has made special preparations this time. For soft landing of Chandrayaan, rockets have been installed in its lander. Through these, there will be speed control of the lander and after that efforts for soft landing will be made.

The process of landing the lander on the lunar surface from a height of one hundred kilometers is very important. According to BBC, its process will be completed in eight stages. Chandrayaan-3 will first fire the booster and orbit at an altitude of 100 km, to fall towards the lunar surface. From here, Chandrayaan will rapidly move towards the surface of the Moon. At this time the lander module of Chandrayaan should be at 90 degrees. Its four legs cannot touch the lunar surface vertically. In such a situation, there will be a danger of Chandrayaan falling on its face. In such a condition the rover will not be able to come out of it. After soft landing, Chandrayaan’s lander module sends signal to Earth. After some time its ramp will open. With its help, Rover Pragyan will land on the moon. After this he will take the photo and send it to the Indian Deep Space Network near Bangalore.

Significantly, on Tuesday it was said that the Chandrayaan-3 mission is progressing as per the schedule. The space agency said that there is an atmosphere of excitement at the ‘Mission Operations Complex’ located at the ‘ISRO Telemetry, Tracking and Command Network’ (ISTRAC) here. Giving the latest information on India’s third mission to the Moon on Tuesday afternoon, ISRO said that the mission is progressing as per schedule. The systems are being regularly checked. continues to operate smoothly. It said that the live telecast of Chandrayaan-3 landing on the lunar surface from MOX/ISTRAC would be started from 5.20 pm on Wednesday.
