Bengaluru: Photo of Karnataka BJP leaders standing behind barricade goes viral

Bengaluru (IANS). Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited ISRO Headquarters in Bengaluru on Saturday. During this, the picture of BJP leaders standing behind the barricade and shaking hands with common people towards PM Modi is going viral on social media.
The Karnataka Congress unit has termed it as the culmination of slavery of state BJP leaders and dictatorship of PM Modi. Congress leader Ramesh Babu said BJP leaders were made to stand like ‘street dogs’ during PM Modi’s visit to ISRO.
Karnataka BJP unit president Nalin Kumar Kateel, former minister and MLA R Ashok, K Gopalaiah, N Munirathna and others were seen in a picture waving to PM Modi.
He shook hands when PM Modi passed by to reach ISRO. MLA Munirathna and other BJP leaders stood at the barricade to welcome PM Modi.
The Karnataka Congress said the party’s state president, sitting MLAs and former ministers were thrown out on the streets. They would be the first victims of the dictatorship, wouldn’t they? Does it not mean that the BJP leaders who are bereft of self-respect and self-respect and are waving hands to PM Modi, have reached the pinnacle of slavery?
This picture went viral on social media and BJP leaders are finding it difficult to digest this sarcasm. Sources told that PM Modi is still upset after the defeat in the assembly elections and does not want to meet any leader of the state BJP unit. No one was allowed to welcome him at the HAL airport in Bangalore.
Former minister R Ashok had announced to the media that PM Modi would participate in a mega roadshow after reaching Bengaluru. However, due to displeasure with the state leadership, the PM has canceled the roadshow.
The BJP high command is not considering the demand of the state leaders to appoint the Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly. The Congress is targeting the BJP over its inability to appoint an opposition leader.

Furthermore, Ashok criticized Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister Shivakumar for not welcoming PM Modi. Criticizing him, Shivakumar said that it is clear from his statement that the PM’s office and the central government care a lot about him.
He challenged Ashok to seek information from the PMO and then respond. He said that according to the message received from the PMO, we did not go to receive it.
