388 people missing due to forest fire in Hawaii

Hawaii: At least 388 people are missing due to the devastating wildfires in the island of Maui, Hawaii. At least 100 people have lost their lives since the fire broke out on 8 August. Maui County officials have made a list of people in which 388 people are said to be missing so far. This information has been given in the report of Washington Post.
However, within a day of Maui County officials making the list public, at least 100 people were struck off the missing list after they were reported to be “safe and sound”. “The 100 people who have been redacted are reported to be safe and sound,” Steven Merrill, special agent in charge of the FBI’s Honolulu division, said during a press conference on Friday.
