Police caught 115 absconding warrants
Bastar: Police launched a campaign to stop the increasing crime in the division. Such cases were continuously coming to the police, in which the criminals managed to escape after committing the crime. Because of this, the hands of the police remained empty. After some time, after the matter cooled down, these criminals would come back to their area and get involved in criminal activities again. Bastar police arrested such absconding and permanent warrantees and produced them in the court.
Bastar police have searched 115 permanent and arrest warrants who have been absconding for a long time from different areas and presented them in the court. Jagdalpur CSP Vikas Kumar said that criminals were absconding for a long time after committing criminal incidents in Bastar district. On which a permanent and arrest warrant was issued by the court. The criminals have been presented in the court after arrest. In these warrants, 70 from Jagdalpur subdivision of Bastar district, 6 from Keshlur subdivision, 12 from Lohandiguda subdivision and 27 from Bhanpuri subdivision have been presented in the court.
