Smuggler caught with ganja in Bhathagaon new bus stand
Raipur: Accused Abdul Shahbaz has been arrested with ganja. According to the information, police received information that a person has ganja in his possession at the new bus stand in Bhathagaon under Tikrapara area and is planning to sell it. On which Additional Superintendent of Police West Jai Prakash Carpenter and City Superintendent of Police Purani Basti Rajesh Chaudhary verified the information and directed the police station incharge Tikrapara to catch the accused red handed with ganja.
On which, under the direction of senior officers and under the leadership of Tikrapara police station in-charge, a team of Tikrapara police station went to the said place, identified the person of the description described by the informer, identified him and arrested him. During interrogation, the person revealed his name to be Abdun Shahbaz resident of Tikrapara Raipur. When the team members searched the bag kept with him, it was found that ganja was kept in the bag. On which the accused Abdul Shahbaz was arrested and a total of 09 kg 900 grams of Ganja worth approximately Rs 1,00,000/- was seized from his possession and action was taken against the accused by registering crime number 434/23 Section 20B Narcotics Act in Police Station Khamtarai. .
