Man made derogatory remarks on CM Siddaramaiah and Mamata, FIR registered

Bengaluru (IANS). Karnataka Cyber Crime Police has registered an FIR against a person for posting derogatory messages on social media against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.

The accused has been identified as Eshwarappa Muniyappa. Police has started searching for him. The accused had also made several derogatory and objectionable posts on dignitaries.

The accused accused Deputy CM DK Shivakumar, Women and Child Welfare Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar, RDPR, IT and BT Minister Priyank Kharge and Home Minister Dr. G. Had also posted objectionable remarks against Parameshwar.

Police said the accused posted reply messages and shared posts made by CM Siddaramaiah, Shivakumar and made derogatory comments on them.

Officials from the Whitefield Cyber Economic and Narcotics Crime (CEN) police station have registered a complaint against the accused and have launched a search for him. Further investigation is on.
