Odisha 5T secretary VK Pandian visits Jajpur, reviews developmental work
Jajpur: The Odisha 5T Secretary VK Pandian visited Jajpur district and reviewed developmental work in the area. He also visited the famous Ma Biraja temple.
The 5t Secretary addressed a gathering at Bramhabarada under Bari constituency and informed the public about the objectives and goals of CM Naveen Patnaik behind the constitution of ‘Mission Shakti’ in 2000.
While addressing gathering, Pandian emphasized that the CM has been working incessantly towards women empowerment in Odisha and Bari constituency has a special place in his heart.
He apprised the public of Bari constituency of various schemes and projects approved by the Chief Minister for the development of the region.
He informed that Rs 160 Cr has been sanctioned for the project to provide piped water to every home, Rs 91 Cr for irrigation, Rs 50 Cr for the construction of a bridge on Tantighai, Rs 40 lakhs for the aesthetic upliftment of the martyrs’ memorial, Rs 200 Cr for development of roads and Rs nine Cr for strengthening of the Southern banks of Brahmani river.
5T Secretary Pandian had started his visit to all the 147 constituencies in 30 districts of Odisha on March 2, 2023 and it is scheduled to culminate in Bari constituency in Jajpur district on Friday, said reliable reports.
