Elderly died on the spot due to unknown vehicle collision
Surguja: An elderly person died on the spot due to a collision with an unknown vehicle on NH 43, the main road of Batauli police station area of the district. On the other hand, seeing the dead body lying on the road, the passers-by informed the Batauli police station. Batauli police has sent the dead body of an unknown elderly man to CHC Shantipara for postmortem as the body could not be identified and has registered a crime against the unknown driver.
Due to the inability to identify the deceased elderly, the Batauli police have identified the deceased elderly through social media and started searching for his family members so that the body can be handed over to the family members of the deceased after the PM, at present a solution has been established in the case. The police have started their investigation and are busy locating the unknown vehicle and its driver that caused the accident.
