Army Porter, Horse Injured In Mine Blast Along Poonch LoC
One Indian Army porter was injured along with a horse in a mine blast along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch. The blast took place at around 3:30 PM in the Sawjian sector of Poonch.
A senior Police official informed Republic that at 1530 hours, an Army porter identified as Mukhtiar Ahmad, a resident of the Gagrian area of the Sawjian sector of Poonch along with his horse was injured in a landmine blast along the LoC at Mauli Dhokh Sawjian, Poonch. The injured porter was shifted to a sub-district hospital in Mandi for medical treatment.
Army officials informed that the primary facia seems to be the own mine blast that has taken place in the forward area but the investigation is underway. The police teams have also reached the spot where the incident has taken place and are carrying out their investigation.
