Police seized 10 lakh cash again, found in a car coming from Odisha to Chhattisgarh
Bastar: The police have caught three people with Rs 10 lakh in cash at the Chhattisgarh-Odisha border. It is being told that these three youths were bringing money from Odisha. But who gave this money? For what purpose were they given? Where were you going to deliver it? The police have not disclosed this yet. At present this matter is under investigation. According to the information, the police has set up a checkpost in Dhanpunji of CG located in the border to curb the smuggling of marijuana. Like every day, on Monday night also the police were searching the vehicles crossing the border. Meanwhile, a blue colored car from Odisha crossed the border and came to Chhattisgarh. The soldiers present at the check post here stopped the car. There were three youths in the car. The police interrogated him.
After which the car was searched. During the search, about 20 bundles of Rs 500 each were recovered. When the police counted this money, it turned out to be around Rs 10 lakh. After this, these three youths were questioned about this money. Jagdalpur CSP Vikas Kumar told that, where did the three bring the money from? Where were you taking? No satisfactory answer has been given in this regard. Therefore, on the basis of suspicion, all three have been arrested. The Income Tax Department has also been informed about this.
