14 year old child died due to dog bite, died in agony in his father’s lap
Ghaziabad: A poignant news is coming out from Ghaziabad. A 14 year old boy died due to dog bite. The child died on September 4, that too in agony in his father’s lap inside the ambulance.
In fact, since September 3, the father had been visiting big hospitals of Delhi-NCR with the child. Which includes AIIMS, Safdarjung, GTB and many private hospitals. But, all the hospitals declared this disease incurable and gave up. Finally, while returning after seeing a doctor in Bulandshahr, the child died in his father’s lap in the ambulance.

The victim’s family demands that strict action should be taken against the woman who kept the dog. The whole matter is of Vijayanagar police station area. Yakub’s family lives here in Charan Singh Colony. Yakub maintains his family by working hard. Their 14-year-old son Shahvez was studying in class eight. On September 1, his 14 year old son started having strange problems. He started getting scared seeing the water. He stopped eating and drinking. Sometimes barking sounds also started coming out of the mouth.
When the family showed it to some doctors, it was found that he must have been bitten by a dog some time ago, whose infection has now spread more. The child’s grandfather Matloob Ahmed told that when we asked the grandson, he told that about one and a half months ago, the dog of the aunty living in the neighborhood had bitten him. Due to fear, he did not tell this thing at home. Because of which the child could not be given proper treatment immediately. We came to know when the child started showing symptoms.
Matloob Ahmed told that for three days we kept roaming in the hospitals of Meerut-Ghaziabad including GTB Delhi, AIIMS Delhi with the ambulance. No hospital admitted our grandson and declared him incurable. Someone told that a doctor in Bulandshahr provides treatment with indigenous medicines. On Monday night at 8 o’clock we were returning to Ghaziabad by ambulance after showing our grandson to that doctor. The grandson died on the way.
