Jagdalpur: The police are keeping a close watch on online betting. The illegal business of betting is being run by the boys of many elite families of the city. The names of many businessmen are also involved in betting and feeding. In this case, the police arrested two businessmen of the city on Wednesday. The police have arrested two big traders who were involved in the illegal business of online betting in the city. In this case, the police have recovered laptop, iPad, 5 expensive mobiles and about 25 thousand rupees from both the accused. The police have also extracted other information about the person playing and feeding the bet from his mobile. It is being told that more than 12 people of the city were connected in their network, who were playing and playing betting worth lakhs of rupees.
Police officers told that after getting the information from the informer, the first action was taken in Pratapdev ward. From here Mikesh Jain’s father Mahendra Jain (27) resident of Pratapdev Ward Kanhaiya Bikaner Jagdalpur was arrested. On the other hand, the second team of the police also identified a young man from near Modi Steel Chowk located in Nayapara of the city and caught him. While interrogating the arrested youth, the police searched him, in which the police recovered 1 mobile phone, 1 iPad and more than Rs 10,000 in cash from him. During strict interrogation, both the accused, Mitesh Jain (27), resident of Pratapdev Ward and Yogesh Chandak (23), resident of Nayapara, confessed to their crime. After this the police arrested both the accused. At present, the police have registered a case under section 6 (a) 7 (1) of the Gambling (Prohibition) Act and have sent both the accused to judicial custody.
