UK President Rishi Sunak arrives in New Delhi for G20 summit
New Delhi: In the latest update on G20 summit 2023, United Kingdom’s President Rishi Sunak has arrived in Delhi. He was received by MoS for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, and Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change Ashwini Kumar Choubey.
US President Joe Biden, Chinese Premiere Li Qiand, and Australian PM Anthony Albanese are to arrive later today. Reports from reliable sources state that Spain’s caretaker PM Pedro Sanchez, will miss the G20 Summit after testing Covid positive. Apart from Rishi Sunak, many other world leaders have also arrived in Delhi for the G20 Summit. They include Italy’s Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, Ursula von der Leyen, who is the President of the European Commission, Mathias Cormann, who is the Secretary General of OECD, Mexico’s Economy Minister Raquel Buenrostro Sánchez, Mauritius’ Prime Minister Pravind Kumar Jugnauth, and European Council President Charles Michel. They have all come to Delhi for this important summit. Delhi is all geared up to welcome the foreign dignitaries from the participating nations. The attendees will get to witness the magnificent statue of Nataraja at the Bharat Mandapam. The Nataraja shows Lord Shiva in his cosmic dance form. With a height of 27 feet, the statue towers over the G20 summit venue.
