Vicious arrested in theft case of Rs 50 lakh
Jashpur: Police has solved the case of theft of Rs 50 lakh in the district. Police have arrested an accused in this case. The name of the accused is Saif Ali alias Sunny. Police have seized Rs 1 lakh 31 thousand in cash and a scooter along with gold and silver jewelery from the accused. According to the information, the total value of the seized goods is said to be Rs 49 lakh 66 thousand. Saif has been arrested by the police on charges of theft totaling Rs 50 lakh.
Accused Saif is a resident of Sisai Road in Gumla police station area of Jharkhand. According to the police, for some time now, 6 complaints of theft were received one after the other in Tapkara police station area. To solve these theft cases, investigation was started under the guidance of SP D Ravi Shankar on the instructions of Bilaspur Range IG Ajay Yadav and Raigarh Deputy Inspector General Ramgopal Garg. With the help of local people, the accused was traced and arrested. The police started night patrolling in collaboration with the local people, after which the police got success. During this period, the police had also kept its information system active.
Due to all these efforts, the police got information that the accused Saif Ali alias Sunny is spending a lot of money these days. On the basis of this suspicion, the police detained Saif and started interrogating him. After strict interrogation, the accused confessed to his crime. Accused Saif told that he had committed the theft along with jailed accused Uchit Singh, Sumit Namdev, Shivam Turi and absconding Vikas Kerketta. After this, the police went to the house mentioned by the accused and seized the stolen money and jewellery. At present the police has arrested the accused.
