G-20 summit, Big leaders of the world said this about PM Modi

New Delhi: At the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor and Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investments event, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “I am very happy to preside over this event along with my friend President Joe Biden. Today We all have witnessed the conclusion of an important and historic agreement. In the times to come, India will be an effective vehicle for economic integration between West Asia and Europe. It will provide sustainable direction to connectivity and development across the world.”

India’s big success

A major victory came on Saturday for India’s G20 presidency. The ‘New Delhi Leaders Summit Declaration’ was adopted with everyone’s consent among the member countries. Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave this information while addressing the second session of the summit at Bharat Mandapam. He said, ‘Just received good news that due to the hard work of our teams and your cooperation, a consensus has been reached on the New Delhi G20 Leaders Summit Declaration.’

Prime Minister Modi said, ‘It is my proposal that this G20 manifesto be adopted.’ After the approval of the members, Modi announced that it has been accepted. He said, ‘I would like to take this opportunity to thank my ministers, Sherpas and all the officials who made this possible with their hard work.’ According to diplomatic sources, consensus was not reached on the paragraphs related to the Ukraine conflict. Due to this, India on Friday circulated the draft of the summit declaration among the member countries without the geopolitical related paragraph in an attempt to achieve a positive outcome.

‘Strong appeal for peace and prosperity in the world’

India’s G20 Sherpa Amitabh Kant said in a post on social media X, ‘The New Delhi Leaders’ Declaration has been officially adopted at the G20 India Leaders Summit. Today’s era should be marked as the golden age of human-centric globalization. India’s presidency of the G20 under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made tireless efforts towards this goal. He said that this is a historic and path-breaking G20 declaration with 100 per cent consensus on all developmental and geo-political issues. The new geopolitical paragraphs are a strong call for people, peace and prosperity in today’s world. It reflects Prime Minister Modi’s leadership in today’s world.

Consensus could not be reached on Ukraine conflict

India on Saturday shared a new ‘paragraph’ to mention the Ukraine conflict in the leaders’ declaration to be issued at the end of the grouping’s two-day summit among G20 countries. Due to lack of consensus on the paragraph related to Ukraine conflict, India on Friday shared a draft of the joint declaration of the summit among the member countries without the paragraph related to the geopolitical issue, in order to achieve a positive outcome. The new text in India’s declaration on Ukraine was shared as G20 leaders began deliberations on serious global challenges on the first day of the summit. In the G20 Sherpa meeting held in Nuh district of Haryana from September 3-6, no consensus was reached on the text mentioning Ukraine issue.

Grand welcome to world leaders who reached ‘Bharat Mandapam’

Let us tell you that Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday welcomed the world leaders by shaking hands at ‘Bharat Mandapam’, the venue of the G20 summit. During this time, in the background, a replica of the Konark Chakra of the Sun Temple in Puri, Odisha added to the beauty of the reception venue. The backdrop of the reception venue is the G20 logo with the Konark Chakra on one side and India’s G20 Chairmanship theme ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam – One Earth, One Family, One Future’ on the other side. It was visible. Modi welcomed the heads of state and other leaders amid the melodious tune of Shehnai. Meanwhile, flags of G20 member countries, invited countries and many international organizations were fluttering with the pleasant morning breeze.
