US President Joe Biden leaves from India
New Delhi: After the conclusion of the G 20 summit, US President Joe Biden left for Vietnam from Delhi. Leaders of G-20 countries paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat. Today is the second day of the G20 summit. India will today hand over the responsibility of presidency of G20 to Brazil in 2024.
India created history
India created history on Saturday in the ongoing G20 summit in Delhi. In the second session of the summit, the New Delhi Declaration was approved by consensus among the member countries, which is being seen as a major diplomatic success for India. The special thing in this was that without taking his name, advice was given to Putin and even amidst the discussion on Ukraine war in the meeting, China and Russia gave their consent on all the issues.
The famous statement of the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also been included in the New Delhi manifesto during the G20 meeting in which he had told Russian President Vladimir Putin that this is not the era of war. This is also being considered a big diplomatic victory for India because in the manifesto, Ukraine war was discussed four times in the section on land, people, peace and prosperity, but Russia’s name was not mentioned even once. India reached a consensus on this. It is important to know here that there are historical relations between India and Russia and there is a deep friendship between the two countries. Russia has also helped India many times in difficult circumstances.
