Pregnant woman suffers labor pain in train, both mother and child safe after getting immediate treatment

Bilaspur: These days, passengers have many travel related complaints from railways. However, Railways does some work in such a way that people never get tired of praising the Railways. Here the Railway Department provided safe delivery to the woman suffering from labor pain. At present both mother and child are safe.

Haseena Khatoon, a female passenger traveling from CSMT to Howrah in seat no. 17 of S-1 coach of CSMT Howrah Mail, has started suffering from labor pain. They need immediate help. Then the Chief Station Manager Raigarh on duty immediately informed this to Railway Health Unit Raigarh, Health Inspector, Ticket Checking Staff and other cleaning personnel.

As soon as the delivery information was received, Dr. Piyush Priyadarshan from the Railway Health Unit, Pharmacist Preeti Singh and attendant Uttam Jatav along with the staff immediately reached the station. As soon as the train stopped at Raigarh station at around 10 pm, immediate help was provided to the female passenger and the woman was successfully delivered. At present both mother and child are healthy. After preliminary investigation, the Railway Medical Team has admitted both the mother and child to the nearby Raigarh Medical College, where both are still fine. After knowing this incident, everyone is praising the railway management.
