The sting of dengue is increasing, 30 new patients surfaced.

Noida: The number of dengue patients is increasing in urban and rural areas in Gautam Buddha Nagar district. According to the data received on Monday, 30 new patients have been confirmed by the District Malaria Department. After this, the total number of dengue patients has increased from 293 to 323.
The continuously increasing number of dengue patients has worried the health department. At present the health department is on alert mode. Instructions have been given to all private and government hospitals that dengue patients should be treated with utmost caution and their reports should be sent to the health department for double checking.
According to the data received so far from the Health Department, anti-larvae is being sprayed at various places to prevent dengue. Fogging is being done and at the same time action has been taken against many establishments and people and till now a fine of Rs 40500 has also been imposed. The health department has become completely alert after finding DEN-2 strain in a dengue patient in the district. After dengue was confirmed in the ELISA test, samples of 46 patients were sent for serotype testing. This strain has been confirmed in 17 out of 46 cases. Due to this strain, patients are complaining of bleeding and rash along with deficiency of platelets.
