Woman councilor gets the cleaning workers of the corporation to do her household work, complaint lodged in the police station
Durg: The female sanitation workers of Durg Municipal Corporation have filed a complaint in the Kotwali police station, accusing the female councilor of assault. He says that Neeta Jain, a lawyer and councilor by profession, gets him to sweep, mop and wash utensils in her house. When they did not do so, he called them to the garden through the supervisor and beat them badly there. Councilor Neeta Jain has termed all the allegations as false.
Female sweepers Rekha Sonwani, Radhika Sonwani and Human Banjare, who reached the Kotwali police station to complain, told that they collect garbage from door to door using the corporation’s garbage rickshaw. The councilor of his ward is advocate Neeta Jain. Ward’s cleaning supervisor Ranglu, Rakesh and Vicky always put pressure on them to do the household work of councilor madam.
The sweepers said that they threaten that if they do not do the household work of madam, they will not get any livelihood. Due to the councilor’s household work, he is unable to pay attention to the cleanliness of the ward. Due to this the people of the locality complain about them. Kotwali police is investigating on the complaint of women.
