Dhanbad bomb blast accused Gudiya Devi arrested, six people were injured in the blast
Ranchi (IANS). Gudiya Devi, a main accused in the bomb blast case in Topchanchi of Dhanbad district, has been arrested by the police from Ramgarh police station area. Six people were injured in a bomb blast in a market in January, including a woman who later died during treatment.
The woman involved in the blast conspiracy was living hiding in Ramgarh. The blast incident took place on January 8 when a detonator kept in a bike exploded.
Due to this, there was chaos in the entire artillery market. During the investigation, the police raided the house of Pintu Varnwal, who was injured in the blast, and a cache of gelatin, which was used in making explosives, was recovered from there.
Ranchi Jaguar STF team had diffused 264 pieces of power gelatin recovered from the house of the accused by taking it to the forest. During investigation, information was received that Pintu Varnwal and his wife Gudiya Devi were involved in illegal business of explosives.
Gudiya Devi was absconding after the incident. On Friday, a raid was conducted in Ramgarh urban area and he was arrested.
