Satta king Saurabh Chandrakar spent Rs 200 crore on marriage

Raipur: ED conducted raids in Mumbai, Kolkata and Bhopal in Chhattisgarh’s Mahadev mobile application betting case and seized ₹2.55 crore cash and jewelery worth ₹13 crore. So far, ED has raided 39 places in this case and seized assets worth ₹417 crore.

According to media reports, ED found out during investigation that the main accused Saurabh Chandrakar, who was hiding in Dubai, had got married in Dubai in February 2023 in which ₹ 200 crore was spent in cash. The family was flown from Nagpur to Dubai in a private jet and celebrities were invited to the wedding. Wedding planners, dancers and decorators were called from Mumbai and payments worth ₹112 crore were made through hawala.

Let us tell you that ED started investigating the case this year and four people were arrested last month. Investigation revealed that the main actors running the gambling app ‘Mahadev’ are Chandrakar and Ravi Uppal, who are residents of Bhilai, Chhattisgarh. He was controlling the entire game while sitting in Dubai. According to ED, Saurabh Chandrakar and Ravi Uppal built their empire in UAE. He started flaunting the sudden and illegally received money. Saurabh got married in RAK, UAE in February 2023. Mahadev App owner spent Rs 200 crore cash on wedding ceremony. He had hired private planes to take the family from Nagpur to UAE. From wedding decorations to dancers, they were transported from Mumbai and were paid in cash through hawala.
