5 naxalites carrying reward of one lakh each arrested

Dantewada. Influenced by the Lon Varatu (Come Back Home) campaign in the district, a total of 5 Maoists including a rewarded Maoist surrendered. All the Maoists were active in Katekalyan Area Committee and Indravati Area Committee. All the dedicated Maoists used to carry out incidents of digging roads, cutting trees, putting up pamphlets with Naxal banners and posters during the Naxal bandh. Let us tell you that influenced by the Lon Varatu campaign, till now a total of 629 Maoists including 164 rewarded Maoists have surrendered.
