One terrorist killed in Baramulla encounter

Jammu & Kashmir: A terrorist was killed by security forces in an encounter in Uri town of Baramulla district in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday.

The encounter broke out in the Hathlanga area of Uri.

The Kashmir Zone Police on social media post on X said, “One terrorist killed. Search going on and Further details shall follow.”

This comes at a time when an operation is underway in Anantnag district to neutralise terrorists. The operation entered its third day on Friday.

Earlier this week, two Army personnel and a DSP were killed during an encounter in the hilly areas of the Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
