Man found dead on roadside in Angul of Odisha, murder suspected

Angul: A man has been found dead on the roadside in Angul district of Odisha on Saturday said reliable reports in the morning hours.

According to reliable reports, a murder is being suspected. It is worth mentioning that, a dead body of a person was recovered near Angul Sadar police station.

It is suspected that someone killed the man and threw him away on the roadside. The deceased has been identified as Sagai Behera of Kangula village, said reliable reports in this regard.

There is tension in the situation due to the delay in the arrival of the police at the scene. The agitated locals blocked the Angul – Athgarh main road, said latest reports.

However, the local police reached the spot and tried to placate the irate public. They seized the body and sent it for postmortem. The reason of death will be ascertained after the postmortem report is obtained, aid police sources.
