Young man returning home after watching Gadar 2 murdered

Durg: Last night in Bhilai, some drug addict youth killed Malkit Singh alias Veeru, son of Sardar Kulwant Singh, head of Gurudwara Bebe Nanaki Ji Management Committee. It is being told that 35 year old Malkit was returning at night after watching Gadar 2 movie. Meanwhile, some boys stopped him near ITI ground under Khursipar police station and beat him up. Later, during treatment in Raipur, doctors declared him dead.

According to the information, Malkit Singh is a resident of Gautam Nagar Khursipar near Durga Temple. His father Sardar Kulwant Singh also runs a building material shop. On Friday night, Malkit was returning home on bike after watching a movie. As soon as he reached near ITI ground under Khursipar police station area around 9 pm, about 5-6 boys stopped him. As soon as he stopped, they started abusing him. When Malkit protested, they stabbed him and beat him badly. They ran away leaving Malkit dead there. After receiving the information, the family members reached the spot and immediately took him to a private hospital in Khursipar. There the doctor referred him to Raipur as his condition became serious. He died during treatment at Ramakrishna Care Hospital.
