Major accident in Anicut, woman washed away with 2 children

Jagdalpur: A major accident has occurred in the district. Two girls along with their mother were washed away in the Narangi river in Bhanpuri area. As soon as information about the incident was received, police and SDRF team reached the spot. Among the three people swept away in the river, a girl has been rescued and taken out of the water. The girl is completely safe. The search for the mother and daughter drowned in water is continuing.

According to the information, this incident took place in Amaliguda Anicut of Bhanpuri police station area. The three mother and daughter were crossing the Anicut amid the strong current of the Orange River when suddenly all three were swept away by the strong current. It is being told that mother Chero Kashyap, daughter Sakhi and Pari Kashyap were crossing the river via Anicut and going to Baiga’s house.

Police and SDRF team reached the spot after receiving information about the incident and started searching for the three. Bastar fight soldier Rupnath Baghel has saved the girl Pari Kashyap who was swept away in the river. The rest of the mother and daughter have not been found, the search for both is ongoing.
