Crude oil price remained stable today

Forex Market: Privately precious metal prices remained mixed in the domestic market which closed over the weekend, trailing the global market. Gold rose in the Mumbai market ahead of Friday’s official close, while silver declined. Personally, the rupee appreciated against the dollar.
The reduction in the tariff value for calculating duty on gold and silver imports will reduce the effective import duty. The tariff value for calculating import duty on gold, which was earlier $627 per ten grams, has been reduced to $612, while silver has been reduced from $804 to $740 per kilogram.
In the Mumbai jewelery market, which remained closed on Saturday, the price of 99.90 10 gram gold without GST was Rs 59,200, while the price of 99.50 10 gram gold was Rs 58,950. With GST, prices were said to be three percent higher. Silver .999 per kg was quoted at Rs 71575.
In Ahmedabad market, the price of gold at 99.90 per ten grams was Rs 61,100 while the price of gold at 99.50 per ten grams was Rs 60,900. Silver .999 per kg stood at Rs 73000.
At the end of the week, in the global market, gold closed at $ 1923.50 an ounce and silver at $ 23.03 an ounce. In the meeting held on September 19 and 20, gold remained stable due to speculations that the Federal Reserve would stop raising interest rates for the time being.
The foreign exchange market was closed on Saturday but the rupee remained marginally stronger against the dollar and traded at 83.13.
Crude oil remained stable at higher levels. Nymax crude oil closed at $90.77 per barrel while Brent crude oil closed at $93.93 per barrel.
