Pankit Thakkar joins the cast of ‘Barsaatein- Mausam Pyar Ka’
Mumbai (IANS). Actor Pankit Thakkar is all set to join the cast of ‘Barsaatein-Mausam Pyar Ka’. He said that he never refuses a daily soap, provided the character’s personality is unique.
He said, “I choose roles very carefully, be it the medium of film, web or television. I choose characters that will further my career as an actor. I am only interested in playing important roles. Ishwar By the grace of ‘I am doing an excellent job after Covid.’
“I am getting offers for work across all mediums and I choose projects based on the caliber of the character I am offered. I am inclined towards streaming services because they provide an opportunity to play the kind of characters I am interested in portraying.”
“I have been a part of the television industry for many years and have worked in various shows since my debut.”
The actor has recently joined the cast of ‘Barsaatein-Mausam Pyar Ka’.
Revealing about his role, he said: “I never say no to a daily soap, provided the character has a unique personality. And that’s one of the reasons I’m excited to be a part of ‘Barsaatein’.”
“I play the role of Aakash Khurana, who heads an internationally renowned media house, but has Indian roots. Aakash feels that Indian journalism focuses more on entertainment news rather than focusing on more relevant topics. And he wants to bring about a change, slowly but surely.”
Pankit has played the lead role in the Bollywood film ‘Tere Liye’ and the web series ‘Scam 1992’. She has acted in many shows like ‘Dil Mil Gaye’, ‘Special Squad’ and ‘Bahu Hamari Rajinikanth’.
