Thieves had arrived in Bolero, caught loading setting plate

Raigarh: On September 21, Rajesh Chauhan (30 years), resident of village Gidhwa, district Bemetara, supervisor of the company engaged in road/bridge construction work in Lailunga police station, lodged a report that the contractor of M/s Manoj Kedia Sarangarh has constructed roads and bridges at many places under CGRDC in Lailunga area. Construction work is being done. Bridge construction work is going on in village Narayanpur Piprahi Lamdand road. On the night of 20/09/2023, it was revealed from the villagers that after parking a Bolero near the under-construction bridge, some people were removing the centering plate installed in the bridge and loading it into the Bolero vehicle. Then the company staff and the villagers went near the under-construction bridge and saw four people, who, seeing them, ran away towards the forest, leaving behind the four sold Bolero vehicles and the stolen centering plate. In relation to the incident, Lailunga police registered a case of theft against unknown accused and took it under investigation.

The accused left the Bolero vehicle on the spot and ran away. After taking information from the informers, the police station in-charge Lailunga immediately detained the suspect Virendra Rawat, resident of Karrahan and interrogated him, who along with his associates Akshay Jatwar, Sanoj Kumar, American Singh had planned to destroy Akshay Jatwar’s Bolero. Karrahan Chuhara was told to go to steal the setting plate of a culvert under construction, iron from the vehicle and steal a water pump and battery from the same under construction place 15 days after the incident. On information received from accused Virendra Rawat, Lailunga police team detained other accused Akshay Jatwar, Sanoj Kumar, American Singh from whose possession one water pump worth ₹ 20,000, one battery worth ₹ 8,000, setting plate worth 6 pieces worth ₹ 6000 and the incident Used numberless Bolero vehicle worth ₹300000, total property worth ₹3,34,000 was seized from the accused and the accused were arrested for the crime of theft and sent on judicial remand to JMFC Court, Gharghoda. Police station incharge Lailunga Inspector Mohan Bhardwaj, Assistant Sub Inspector Chandan Netam and Hamrah staff have played a special role in the detection and arrest of the accused.

(1) Akshay Jatwar father Seeman Lal Jatwar 22 years

(2) Sanoj Kumar Jatwar, father Seeman Lal Jatwar, age 31 years, both residents of village Piprahi police station Lailunga.

(3) Virendra Raut father Jalandhar Raut 26 years

(4) American Singh, father Fofendra Singh, 50 years old, both residents of village Karrahan police station Lailunga.
