Was selling ganja in Kabir Nagar, police caught him red handed
Raipur: Accused Rohan Tandi has been arrested with ganja. According to the information, the team of Anti Crime and Cyber Unit received information that a person has ganja with him near Valmiki Nagar under Kabir Nagar police station area and is planning to sell it. On which Additional Superintendent of Police West Jai Prakash Carpenter, Additional Superintendent of Police Crime Pitambar Patel and City Superintendent of Police Azad Chowk Mayank Gurjar (I.P.S.) verified the information with Anti Crime and Cyber Unit in-charge and Kabir Nagar police station in-charge and arrested the accused. He was directed to be caught red handed with ganja.
On which, under the direction of senior officers, a joint team of Anti-Crime and Cyber Unit and Kabir Nagar police station went to the said place, traced the person of the description described by the informer, identified him and arrested him. During interrogation, the person revealed his name to be Rohan Tandi, resident of Raipur. When the team members searched the polythene kept with him, it was found that ganja was kept in the polythene. On which the accused Rohan Tandi was arrested and a total of 01 kg 900 grams of Ganja worth approximately Rs 20,000/- was seized from his possession and action was taken against the accused by registering crime number 183/23 under Section 20B Narcotics Act in Police Station Kabir Nagar.
