Excise officials raid illegal liquor factory, 6 youth arrested
Jaipur. As soon as the election season started, Rajasthan Excise started keeping a watch on the smugglers with the aim of stopping the smuggling of illegal liquor. Excise South team raided the illegal liquor manufacturing factory and arrested 6 accused. The action has been taken on the instructions of Excise Commissioner Omprakash Kasera. Anti-Excise Team South and Police Inspector Mamta Shardul said that the action was taken in Bilwa and Kanota areas. There was information about sale of spurious and illegal liquor in Beelwa.
On the spot, the team recovered 400 liters of spirit, 160 liters of spurious liquor, 410 pavva, empty bottles, cartons and other items. The arrested people told during interrogation that they had an illegal factory running in Dayrampura village in Kanota. This is where spurious and illegal liquor is made. When the factory was raided, 1600 empty pans, 1 cardboard cartoon filled with fake labels, 500 liter tank, 2 cars and a motorcycle were seized. Pradyuman Singh and Ram Singh Saini of the anti-excise team played an important role in the action. Now the Excise is interrogating the accused as to how long this factory has been running.
