BJP gave assembly election ticket to former IAS, know who he is?
Raipur. Apart from Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, BJP has also announced candidates for Chhattisgarh assembly elections. BJP has declared candidates for 64 assembly seats in the state. There are a total of 90 assembly seats in the tribal dominated state.
Now only five seats are left to declare candidates. In the second list, new faces including former IAS OP Chaudhary, film actor, MP have also been given a chance.
Resigned from the post of Collector
OP Chaudhary has been an IAS officer of 2005 batch. In 2018, he had announced to leave the job. At that time he was posted on the post of Raipur Collector. A few days after resigning from the job, he joined BJP. At that time he had written that I want to devote time for the betterment of my village and people. He is a resident of Bayang village of Raigarh district.
BJP has fielded all the sitting MLAs in the elections. The ticket of one sitting MLA has been cut. This time, three MPs Vijay Baghel, Gomti Sai and Renuka Singh have also been given assembly tickets. Former CM Dr. Raman Singh Rajnandgaon, former minister Nankiram Kanwar Rampur, Narayan Chandel Janjgir, Arun Sav Lormi, Ajay Chandrakar Kurud, Brijmohan Aggarwal have been declared candidates from South Raipur
Let us tell you that BJP had announced 21 candidates in its first list. Now 64 candidates have been announced in the second list. Now candidates are yet to be announced in five assembly constituencies, Bemetara, Ambikapur, Pandariya, Beltara and Kasdol.
