The District Election Officer said that with the announcement of Model Code of Conduct, hoardings, wall writings, banners, posters, flex etc. will be removed from public places and properties in the next 48 hours and with the announcement of Model Code of Conduct, hoardings, wall writings, banners, posters, flex etc. will be removed from private places in the next 72 hours. He said that no government employee will be able to participate in any kind of political activities like rally, meeting or election campaign, nor will he be able to work as an election counting agent of any candidate party. He has ordered all district level officers to follow the above instructions in their offices and departments.
The District Election Officer said that during the assembly elections, complete adherence to the guidelines of the Election Commission of India will be ensured regarding the stay of ministers and political persons in government departments, rest houses of undertakings, guest houses, post bungalows etc. located in the district.
