Senior BJP leader appointed as Governor of Tripura

Senior Telangana BJP leader N Indrasen Reddy has been appointed as the Governor of Tripura. The President of India, Draupadi Murmu, is pleased to make this appointment, an official statement said.
He was first elected MLA in 1983 when he was just 33 years old. He was also elected MLA in 1985 and 1999. Reddy was the floor leader in the state assembly when he was elected for the third time.
Which will be effective from the date of assuming charge of his office. Indrasena Reddy was elected MLA thrice from Malakpet assembly constituency. He also served as the president of the joint Andhra Pradesh unit of the party.
