Amitabh Bachchan made a big revelation in KBC 15

In the quiz-based show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 15’, megastar Amitabh Bachchan has revealed why he wanted to join the Air Force, but was rejected after a few attempts.

Big B is currently seen as the host of the knowledge based reality show ‘KBC 15’.

In episode 49 of the show, Jitendra Kumar, resident of Ambala, Haryana won Fastest Finger First and reached the hot seat.

Speaking to the contestants, Amitabh said: “Since childhood… did you always aspire to do this or something else?”

Responding, the contestant said, “Sir, I wanted to join the Air Force. I attempted CDS and NDA exams many times. My NDA SSB interview was held in Allahabad but I could not clear it. “I was starting to get frustrated.”

The contestant further said, “Sir, everyone has a friend who talks about celebrities. A friend of mine told me about you that, ‘Amitabh Bachchan tried to join the Air Force.’ I want to know if this is true sir. Did you attempt CDS and NDA exams?

The ‘Zanjeer’ fame actor said, ‘When I passed from school. I didn’t know what to do. Right opposite my house in Delhi, there lived a Major General of the Army. I used to meet him often.”

“She told my father (Harivansh Rai Bachchan) one day, ‘I want this boy. I will ensure that he becomes an army officer.’ I thought I would do that. I tried it, but it was useless.”

The actor further said, “I also wanted to join the Air Force. We have a lot of similarities. Both of us studied B.Sc. Both of us aspired to join the Air Force. He rejected me as soon as he saw me, saying that I had long legs.”
