India became a trouble-shooter for Palestine amid Israel-Hamas war, Saudi Arabia’s Prince said this

New Delhi: Amidst the ongoing war between Hamas and Israel, many countries of the world had appealed to send aid material to the people of Gaza. US President Joe Biden had called Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and appealed to open the border so that help could be provided to the people there. After this, about 20 trucks of humanitarian aid have been delivered to Gaza. Now India has sent help for the people of Palestine. It has been told by the Indian Foreign Ministry that India has sent humanitarian aid to the people of Palestine. Indian Air Force’s C-17 Globemaster aircraft has left for Egypt’s Al-Arish International Airport with relief material. Statement of Saudi Arabia’s Prince The ongoing war in Gaza is taking a frightening form. The Israeli army has announced that it will intensify attacks in Gaza. With the aim of completely eliminating Hamas, the Israeli army has so far destroyed more than 100 bases in Gaza. Meanwhile, a big statement by Turki bin Faisal Al Saud, a prince of Saudi Arabia, has come to light. He criticized both Hamas and Israel for the war. Faisal, who commanded Saudi Arabia’s intelligence department for 24 years, said “there are no heroes in this conflict, only victims”. There is only one solution to this – civil rebellion. Faisal also mentioned India. Said civil rebellion had brought down the British empire in India and the Soviet empire in Eastern Europe. The viral video of the address begins with 78-year-old Saudi Prince Turki bin Faisal saying that all people under occupation have the right to resist their occupation, even militarily. “I do not support a military option in Palestine,” he said. I prefer the second option – civil rebellion. Referring to India, the Saudi Prince said that it had demolished the British Empire in India and the Soviet Empire in Eastern Europe.” Israel has overwhelming military superiority, he said, and the world can see the devastation it is wreaking in Gaza. Targeting Hamas, which was responsible for the beginning of this great war, Faisal said, “I unequivocally condemn the targeting of any civilian by Hamas, as it has been accused. “Such a goal belies Hamas’s claims to an Islamic identity.” He said, killing innocent children, women and elderly and desecrating places of worship is not Islam at all. According to UN estimates, Hamas’s surprise attacks on Israeli cities and brutal retaliation have so far claimed the lives of more than 5,800 people. The Saudi prince criticized Hamas for “giving the Israeli government an opportunity to attack.” “I condemn Hamas for giving this government an excuse to carry out ethnic cleansing of its citizens from Gaza and to bomb them,” he said. The Saudi prince also criticized Hamas for thwarting Saudi Arabia’s effort to reach a peaceful solution to the Palestine issue. Many experts have said that the normalization of Israel–Saudi Arabia relations, which had been stalled due to the war in Gaza, was an important backdrop against which Hamas planned its unprecedented attack. Taking aim at Israel’s alleged atrocities and killing of civilians in Palestine, he said, “This bloodshed must stop.” “I condemn the theft of Palestinian land by Israel,” he said, accusing Tel Aviv of targeted killing of Palestinians and imprisoning civilians. The Saudi prince also hit out at Western politicians who “shed tears” when Israelis are killed by Palestinians but “they refuse to even express grief” when the opposite is the case. “There are no heroes in this conflict, only victims,” he said. Faisal has led the Saudi intelligence agency Al Mukhbarat Al Amma for 24 years and also served as the country’s ambassador to London and the US. However, he does not hold any public office at present. There has been no official statement from Saudi side on his comment
