Now Anisha Madhok will be seen in the musical play ‘Anand’
Mumbai : Actress Anisha Madhok, famous for her work in the Hollywood film ‘Bully High’, will now be seen in the musical play ‘Anand’. He shared his experience and said that it helped him broaden his perspective about art.
‘Anand’ is directed by Muzaffar Ali.
Anisha plays the role of Jhumki, a young seductive girl who encounters spiritual enlightenment in her search for happiness. Kabir Bedi is the narrator of this play.
Anisha said, “The entire experience has helped expand my perspective on art with its combination of peace, creativity and receptivity. The aura of Muzaffar Ali Sir keeps me in awe of him.
“He is a great artist not because of his name but because of his ability to dedicate himself to art beyond boundaries,” he said. No words I say are enough. I am very grateful.”
On what kind of response she expects from ‘Anand’, Anisha said, “I think India is moving forward. I studied at the University of Southern California and am bringing back all my learning from singing, dancing and acting to live performance. Let’s raise the standards of the arts in our country, especially when it comes to the talent representing our country.”
All her outfits in the drama are designed by Sama Ali and Mira Ali.
On working with Kabir Bedi, Anisha said, “I met him for the first time at the Jaipur Polo Grounds in Delhi with my Italian friends, who are big fans of his. He is very kind and globally acclaimed. It is an honor to be a part of this production with Bedi.
The musical play ‘Anand’ will be held on 26-27 October in Delhi.
