Sankalp Ek Prayas Society receives Global Business and Education Awards 2023
Bhilai: “Sankalp Ek Prayas Society”, a social organization run on the initiative of NSPCL employees, has been honored with the Global Business and Education Awards 2023 at an event organized in the country’s capital New Delhi. CA Rinu V. Kosi received this award on behalf of the organization. The award is given for significant contribution in the field of innovation in supplementary education, expanding menstrual hygiene education to adolescent girls and health care activities in remote villages of Chhattisgarh and development and welfare of women and children.
Alphons Kannanthanam, former Minister of State for Culture and Tourism, former Defense Secretary and former Governor of Chhattisgarh Shekhar Dutt, former cricketer and World Cup-winning member Madan Lal, High Commissioner of the Republic of Rwanda to India, Jacqueline Mukangira, Trade Commissioner of the Latin American Caribbean Business Council. This honor was given to Sankalp Ek Prayas Society in the presence of Dr. Senorita Isaac. This Global Education Awards 2023 ceremony was attended by over 200 experts from various fields of business and education and exchanged ideas with like-minded peers and prominent people in the field of education and social service.
It is noteworthy that Sankalp Ek Prayas Society is an NGO managed and supported by NSPCL Bhilai and formed under “Employee Voice” of NSPCL. Working since 2008 for the education and holistic childhood development of underprivileged children in remote geographical areas in the state of Chhattisgarh. CA Rinu V. Koshy said on the occasion that the Global Education Awards ceremony is a commendable effort to share the platform and promote our efforts to serve the community at the international level. “In a resolution, we will continue to move forward with the same energy on the journey of our tireless commitment to make the country fully educated.” Others who shared their views at the event included defense experts Major General Sanjay Soi, Lieutenant Colonel Rohit Mishra, Founder-Mission Fight Back; Shilpi Arora, National Spokesperson-Indian National Congress; Dr. Asif Iqbal, President-Indian Economic Trade Organization and other eminent panelists and academicians and experts in education. Sankalp Mandal President Kaushal Kishore, Vice President Abdul Wasim, General President Parimal Sinha, Treasurer C.A. Rinu V. Koshy expressed her gratitude to all the beneficiaries, volunteers, coordinators and other stakeholders for this recognition and award.
