Father violated ‘sacred relationship’, made daughter a victim of lust

Panaji (Goa): A shocking incident of brutality is coming to light from Goa where a father along with his sons raped a minor girl. A father and his two sons allegedly raped a 14-year-old girl who was adopted by the family. One of the accused is said to be a minor boy. The victim girl lived with a family of four. These include husband, wife and their two sons. This family lives in Tiswadi taluka of Goa.

According to a Times of India report, the girl was allegedly raped for two years. The incident came to light on Sunday when a brother tried to touch the girl inappropriately. Police said the girl then left the house and narrated the incident to a neighbor who later called an NGO.

Narrating the entire incident to the NGO, the victim said that her abuse started in March 2021, when a brother touched her chest and private parts and then had sexual relations with her. The father and the other son also abused and raped her in the same manner, police said. His minor son was also involved in this act.

The victim said her mother was not aware of the abuse as she used to go out of the house for work. After talking to the NGO, the girl called the police. “Two FIRs have been registered against the father and a son at Agassam police station and action has also been taken against the third accused,” North Goa SP said.
