Teen molested in fair, case against 11 including former councilor

Uttar Pradesh. A girl who had come to see Ramlila and fair of Chhota Central Park was molested. When the father protested, he was hit on the head with a machete and he bled to death. When the girl screamed, the people of Ram Leela Committee came to the rescue. The people coming from the other side along with the former councilor beat him up. The girl has lodged an FIR against 11 people including the former councilor at Kakadev police station. A 15-year-old girl resident of Shastratti Nagar had gone to Chhota Central Park of Shastratti Nagar with her family at night to see the Dussehra fair.

It is alleged that during this time Avinash molested her and then Gaurav Raj alias Gaurav Nati, Rishabh Pratap Singh, Kaushalendra pushed him. When the father protested, they molested him in front of him. When the father pushed him, the accused Kaushalendra fired at him with a pistol. He survived. Then he hit him on the head with the butt of the machete. It is alleged that during this time, former BJP councilor Raghavendra Mishra reached there with his brothers and started fighting. Ramlila being held on the stage was stopped. Committee people started intervening. The girl’s father was taken to KMC hospital.

Inspector Kakadev Manvendra Singh said that on the basis of the complaint, Avinash, Gaurav Rai alias Nati, Rishabh Pratap Singh, Kaushalendra, former councilor Raghavendra Mishra, his brother, and five unknown persons were booked for rebellion, molestation, assault, death threats, An FIR has been registered under the section of causing grievous hurt. My cousin was beaten up by the people of Ramlila Committee. I had gone there. I do not know the girl or her family. This case has been diverted due to political conspiracy.
