Kheer distribution organized in Maa Patal Bhairavi temple

Rajnadgaon. On the occasion of Sharad Purnima, kheer containing herbs to cure diseases was distributed by Barfani Sevashram Committee in Maa Patal Bhairavi temple of Rajnandgaon city, like every year, this year too. Let us tell you that for about 28 years, kheer made from herbs is being distributed here to cure diseases like respiratory diseases, asthma etc. Thousands of people from many states across the country come to receive it.

According to ancient beliefs, on Sharad Purnima, a drop of nectar falls on the kheer kept under the open sky. It is believed that by consuming this kheer a person remains disease free. Even in Maa Patal Bhairavi temple, on Sharad Purnima, kheer is being distributed by mixing herbs in it for almost 28 years to make it nectar for getting rid of diseases. Lakhs of people from many states of the country reach the temple of Maa Patal Bhairavi to consume this medicinal kheer. Devotee Nakul Ram Yadav, who came from Chandrakhuri in Durg district to buy herbal kheer, says that the herbal kheer here has had an effect, due to which he is healthy.
