Police arrested momos seller, customers were shocked
Lucknow: PGI police have arrested four members of the gang who set up momos stalls and looted women and elderly people walking on the streets in the capital Lucknow. Out of which three are teenagers. Eight mobile phones and two bikes have been recovered from the possession of the accused. According to ACP Cantt Pankaj Kumar Singh, on Sunday, four youths riding on two bikes were seen coming near Barauli railway crossing. Who started trying to run away as soon as they saw the police. Who were chased and caught. Eight stolen mobile phones were recovered from the possession of the accused.
During interrogation, the accused told that the accused run a momos stall near Kalindi Park. The three arrested are teenagers, who have been sent to a juvenile home. Whereas, the fourth person was identified as Harish Rawat, resident of Ishwari Kheda. Harish is the leader of the gang, he works as a milk seller.
According to the police, after committing the robbery, the accused used to come and sit at the momos stall. Due to which no one doubted him. Gang leader Harish used to ride a bike. The teenager sitting behind used to steal the mobile phone.
