Vishal, Haritima and Shrestha-Samaya became winners of table tennis competition
Raipur. Organized by Rajdhani Table Tennis Association District Raipur in collaboration with Kedia Steel Corporation from 28th to 29th October at Sapre Shala Table Tennis Hall. Pradeep Kedia Memorial- 4th Raipur District Monthly League Table Tennis Competition-2023 was concluded. Regarding this competition, Secretary of Rajdhani Table Tennis Association, District Raipur, Vinay Baiswade informed that Vishal Decate in Senior Men’s Singles category, Haritima Agarwal in Senior Women’s Singles category, Shrestha Mishra in Cadet (UNDER-13) Boys’ Singles category and Cadet (UNDER-13) Samaya Pandey became the winner in girls singles category. The chief guest of the closing and prize distribution ceremony of the competition was Chartered Accountant Deepak Kumar Jain. The program was presided over by Vimal Nair, joint secretary of Chhattisgarh Table Tennis Association. Rajdhani Table Tennis Association, District Raipur Secretary Vinay Baiswade and Chief Judge Arun Bavariya were present on the stage.
The final results of all categories of the competition are as follows:
Senior Men’s Category: Winner – Vishal Decate, Runner-up – Pranay Chauhan 2-1, Third – Andrew T. Williams.
(Apart from the above three players, Rishabh Nagwani, Yashwant Decate, Kalpesh Jadwani, Arjun Malhotra, Lokesh Jangade secured fourth to eighth position respectively)
Senior Women’s Category:
Winner- Haritima Agarwal, Runner-up- Samaya Pandey 2-0, Third – Anya Kala.
(Apart from the above three players, Ahana Singh, Lavanya Pandey, Renuka Subba, Ira Pant, Vedi Kachhwaha secured fourth to eighth position respectively)
Cadet (Under-13) Boys Category:
Winner – Shrestha Mishra, Runner up – Kavish Kala 2-0, Third – Vivaan Baiswade.
(Apart from the above three players, Vihaan Agarwal, Aryan Singh, Tejas Jadwani, Aarush Natthani, Raghav Tiwari secured fourth to eighth position respectively)
Cadet (Under-13) Girls Category:
Winner- Samaya Pandey, Runner-up – Lavanya Pandey 2-0, Third – Vedi Kachchwaha
(Apart from the above three players, Ashmi Agnihotri, Arana Singh Thakur, Nia Mojarkar secured fourth to sixth position respectively)
The main judge of the competition was Arun Bavariya and assistant judges were Ajit Banerjee and Jaya Sahu.
On this occasion, Chhattisgarh Table Tennis Association official Pradeep Joshi, international umpire Praveen Nirapure, B. Chandra, Mrs. Sheetal Kala, Mrs. Insi Pandey, Parivartan Mishra, Rajesh Singh, Priyank Pandey, N.I.S. Coach Miraj, NIS Coach Ashfaq, Ms. Anjana Chauhan, Harsh Rajput, Nageshwar Sahu and other members, players, coaches, parents were present.
