Supervisor murdered due to illicit relations, police arrested B.Tech student along with girlfriend in 8 hours

Noida: The police solved the mystery of the murder of a supervisor in Noida Sector 40 in just 8 hours and arrested three people including his girlfriend and girlfriend’s husband for murdering the supervisor. On Monday, the supervisor was murdered by slitting his throat. On October 30, information was received at Sector 39 police station that a person Shashi Sharma had been murdered by an unknown person and the accused had absconded.

In this case, the police arrested Bharat Chauhan, his wife Seema Devi and Raja Tiwari the next day on Tuesday. Two mobile phones of the deceased and the knife used in the incident have been recovered from them.

It has been revealed from the accused caught during police interrogation that accused Bharat Chauhan and accused Seema Devi were married in the year 2006. Both have four children. After marriage, both of them started living with their families in a room in Plot No. 56/I 8 Sector-62 and accused Bharat Chauhan used to work as a laborer in construction work along with running a tea shop.

Deceased Shashi Sharma also used to work in construction. Both of them met during work in the year 2021. Deceased Shashi Sharma also made a room of his own near Bharat’s house and started living with him. In the year 2021 itself, during the night, accused Bharat Chauhan saw his wife Seema Devi and deceased Shashi Sharma in an objectionable condition. After which there was tension between the two. After this, deceased Shashi Sharma changed his room and started living on rent in Sector-40.

After this, in October 2023, construction work was being done by deceased Shashi Sharma in Barat Ghar Sector-63. During this time, Seema and deceased Shashi Sharma started meeting again. On October 27, Seema had talked to Shashi Sharma from her husband’s mobile. Whose recording was heard by accused Bharat Chauhan. When Bharat protested to his wife about this, Seema attempted suicide. Whom Bharat saved.

Accused Raja Tiwari, the third accused in this case, came to Noida from Gorakhpur in the year 2022 and is a student of Mechanical Engineering (B.Tech- First Year) at Maharishi University. Accused Raja Tiwari used to come to the tea shop of Bharat Chauhan to drink tea etc.

Where Bharat and accused Raja Tiwari had become friends with each other. On October 29, Raja, Bharat and Seema came to meet the deceased at his residence in Sector-40. The deceased and the three accused were sitting in the deceased’s house and talking about their relationship when the deceased slapped Seema. After which all three together killed Shashi Sharma by slitting his throat with a knife and fled away.
