Rape of minor in Kokrajhar

Kokrajhar: A minor girl from the indigenous tribal community was abducted and raped by suspected Bangladeshi immigrants in Kokrajhar on Sunday. According to the information, the girl was first given intoxicants and taken to a secluded place where she was sexually assaulted. It is said that the accused is a laborer working in the construction of a building in Kokrajhar city, where the girl lives. The accused identified as Anwar Hussain (24) of Bhotgaon Bodhiaguri has been arrested under section 363/376(3)/328IPC R/w 69 POCSO Act.
