Ram Charan joins Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences
Hyderabad: Telugu star Ram Charan has attended the Oscars with his ‘RRR’ co-star NTR Jr. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) recently announced his induction into the Prestigious Actors Branch.
Ram Charan, whose role as freedom fighter Alluri Seetharaman Raju in director SS Rajamouli’s universally acclaimed film ‘RRR’ brought him global limelight, has joined the list of superstars.
The academy posted a roster of recent inductees on its Instagram.
He wrote, “Through their acting skills, these actors present to us characters that leave an indelible mark on our hearts and minds.
His art transforms seemingly ordinary moments into extraordinary cinematic experiences, enriching our appreciation of the depth and complexity of human emotions.”
Announcing the roster, he said, “We are thrilled to welcome these accomplished artists to the Academy’s Actors Branch: Lashana Lynch, Ram Charan, Vicky Cripps, Lewis Koo Tin-lok, Keke Palmer, Chang Chen, Sakura Endo, Robert Dewey and many more.”
Presently, Ram Charan S. He is shooting for the upcoming Telugu political-action-thriller film ‘Game Changer’ directed by Shankar. Kiara Advani will also be with him in this. The film will be released in 2024.
